Hoda Kotb has a new family member joining her household!

On Thursday, July 10, the former TODAY co-anchor shared an adorable video of the moment she introduced her new puppy, Waffles, to her two daughters, Haley, 8, and Hope, 6.

“It’s official! Meet our newest addition — WAFFLES!” Kotb captioned the post.

In the video, Kotb, 60, can be seen clapping as a friend brings Waffles out of a car to her daughters, who are standing in their driveway waiting to meet their new furry friend.

Hope then asks to hold the pup, who has curly sandy-colored fur, and wags her tail as the 6-year-old holds her in her arms (with a little help from her mom).

"Look how cute she is," Kotb gushes.

In the comment section of her post, Kotb received several encouraging messages.

"❤️adorable!! Congratulations!! All children should grow up with a pet!! Especially a dog 😊" one follower wrote.

"Waffles is going to be so loved. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing this wonderful moment!🥰" another fan wrote.

Kotb, who shares her two daughters with ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman, has been candid about wanting to spend time at home with her girls since leaving the Today show after 17 years in January.

"As I write this, my heart is all over the map," the journalist wrote in a letter to staff of the NBC morning show, shared last year. "I know I’m making the right decision, but it’s a painful one. And you all are the reason why. They say two things can be right at the same time, and I’m feeling that so deeply right now. I love you and it’s time for me to leave the show."

Explaining her reasoning, Kotb added in part, "My broadcast career has been beyond meaningful, a new decade of my life lies ahead, and now my daughters and my mom need and deserve a bigger slice of my time pie. I will miss you all desperately, but I’m ready and excited."

Aside from showing off the moment her girls met their new furry best friend, Kotb has given her social media followers a glimpse at some fun times with her girls in recent months.

Just last week, Kotb teased that she was giving her kids a blast of the past on July 2, when she shared a snap of Haley on Instagram using a landline phone. "We are going old school! Any landline fams out there? #summerofjoy," she captioned the post.

The next day, she shared an adorable video on Instagram of her daughter Hope actually getting her first phone call on the landline. In the clip, her daughter can be heard saying, "I can't really believe that you actually got our number. It's really complicated."
