The Olympian said she had met her weight loss goal in December 2024.

Williams documented her journey with getting back into shape after giving birth to her and husband Alexis Ohanian's second daughter, Adira River, in August 2023. One of the athlete's goals was fitting into the maxi denim Valentino skirt she bought when she was pregnant.

In January 2024, Williams shared a video documenting her gym work, executing barbell squats at a lighter weight than usual and telling her followers that she was getting back into a groove in the gym.

“Alright, I'm getting back into the swing of things,” the 23-time Grand Slam champion said in an Instagram Reel, soundtracked by “My Name Is” from hip-hop artist Don. “This is not my usual weight, but it'll do until I get back to where I need to be.”

After a few squats, Williams declared, “Feels good,” with a laugh before placing the barbell back on the rack and letting out a “woo!”

By December, she achieved her goal of fitting the Valentino skirt.

“It just fits. An ounce more, it wouldn’t,” said Williams in an Instagram video. “I need to give myself credit,” she added.
